The Holy Week Question

This Holy Week is coming upon us and I get two different messages from you sir, on Wednesday and on Sunday.  On Wednesday, I hear, "we must move away from Catholic practices, the great whore, Mother of Harlots."  Then comes Sunday and you are practicing the same things the Mother Harlot practices; this makes you in a way one of her daughters.  I do not mean that in offense; but it should be brought to your attention because it can be confusing.

The council distorted much of the pure Christianity, by introducing many pagan rites that us Christians still practice to this very day.  Such as this Holy Week

The Holy Week... let's look at this Holy Week

Matthew 21 verse 1-15 Jesus comes into Jerusalem the Jews thought they were saved now, what day was this?  The scripture does not tell us in Matthew 21; but He came in and began to teach.  If you follow it well; you'll see that He taught from chapter 21 in Matthew to chapter 26.  Look through it...

Then in Matthew 26 it says...

1And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

2Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

3Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

If you look at and read Matthew 21 Jesus got off the donkey went into the Temple (keep in mind it was after His Triumphant Entry); healed all the lame and sick folks who came to Him; and then He began to TEACH.  By the time Matthew chapter 26 rolled around, JESUS had finished all these sayings that Matthew recorded and JESUS told His followers, "Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover..."

So Ideally, what Jesus is saying is, from the time He stopped teaching, He turned to the disciples and told them that after 2 days will be the Passover and the Son of Man, Himself, will be betrayed and killed!

We do not know when He entered the city; but we do know that from the time He stopped teaching, 2 days later would be the Passover and His death.

So let's take a look at the death and see when that happened; before we can do that we have to understand who Jesus is.  In 1 Corinthians 5 verses 7 we see that even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for  us.  So Jesus is the PASSOVER.  This is why we cover ourselves with His blood so that the Father will look at us and see the blood; and PASS-OVER our sins and not condemn us to the fire.  Please deal with the capitalization of words as I want to drive home the vital points.

This looks like something done in the past... in Exodus chapter 12 we get the ordinance of the Passover.  The Passover takes place in the first month of the God's year; not January 1, which is the Roman Catholic calendar new year.  In the first month, which is usually the beginning of the spring season when things are renewed; on the 14th day of the month; is the Lord's Passover.  This was a statue to be done forever.

The original Passover the Israelites had to put the blood over their door way; in other words; they had to be covered with the blood of the Lamb, in order to avoid the plague of death angel and first born.
  The lamb representing Jesus...

In Galatians chapter 3 verses 24; we see that the old testament practices, many of them, were our school master to bring us unto Christ.  In other words, Jesus use the animal lamb to represent Him until He came because He was not going to do this, die, in every generation.  So the Lamb represented Jesus; so why is this important?

Because, Jesus was our Passover, therefore, He had to be killed on the Passover day.  We shall see if He indeed did this.

In Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 -27; an often debated few verses; but read carefully, Daniels dream is cleared and the Angel refers to Jesus, the Jews, and Jerusalem.  Read carefully, it talks about no one else... at any rate, Jesus confirms the promises He made with the fathers (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), and He does this by being cut off in the midst or middle of the week; and we know JESUS did not die for Himself; but for us.  The middle of the week is when the Messiah (which Daniels 9 v24-27 speaks of), the Christ, the Anointed One, was cut off.

Jesus will verify this...

Matthew 12 verses 39-40

Keep in the mind the context of this conversation... the preachers and religious leaders asked Jesus for a sign to prove without a shadow of a doubt that He was indeed the Messiah/Christ/Anointed One and JESUS gave them a sign...

He said first off; evil people need a sign to believe in God... they need for God to shake the earth terribly, they need earth quakes in different places, they need to pledge money and see if God will give it back 10 fold, they can't just rely on the prayer Jesus taught saying give us THIS DAY our daily bread; they need to see someone speaking in tongues, they need to see a pastor pray for at least 4 hours before they may consider believing.

But the righteous do not need any sign at all; all we need is to read the Words of God; and we are straight or content.  At any rate; Jesus said He'll give ONE SIGN; that He is the Christ that He is the One the Father sent; and that sign is; that when He is killed; He will be in the grave or heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights as Jonah the prophet was in the whale 3 days and 3 nights.

So if we want to see if Jesus of the Bible is an impostor fake; all we need to do is go see when He died and when He rose.  If we get anything outside of three days and three nights; we know that He was not the Christ; but just another man claiming to be the One.

Mainstream, Roman influenced Christians say Jesus died on Good Friday and rose Sunday morning...

Dying Friday night would give you one night in Friday, one day in Saturday, two nights in Saturday night, and that is all we can get because He rose on Sunday.  That would give us 1 day and 2 nights.  Clearly showing us that the Roman Catholic Church is blatantly telling us that the Jesus of the Bible is not the Messiah.  That is why this anti-Christ will step into the Temple and claim to be Christ at the end-time.  The Romans, remember, set up the Good Friday theory...

Now let's visit it the way the Bible said it... in the midst or middle of the week.

That would be according to our modern day calendars; even the Roman ones; the middle of the week in hump day as it is popularly said in the work world.  So Jesus would have been killed on Tuesday and put in the ground by Wednesday...

Now remember God's days start at evening and ends the next evening. Keep that in mind as you view the next set of scriptures. Jesus had been betrayed by Judas the evening of the Passover. John 13 tells how Jesus and His disciples, that evening, were sharing the Passover meal. John (18:3) shows that same evening; Jesus was betrayed and taken away. It was still nighttime when they took Jesus, because the men that came and took and bound Him and they had lanterns and torches.

Jesus was crucified the next day but it was still the Passover. Comfort your mind, God's days run from sundown to sundown. Jesus had been taken into custody the night of the Passover and the next morning which is the day time of the Passover, He was condemned and crucified. The following verses demonstrate how Pilate was willing to release Jesus the morning after he had been taken in to custody. It was still the Passover. We all know the Jews refused and Jesus was crucified.

(John 18:39) But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? (40) Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

Comfort yourself again in Mark (15:42) Joseph craved the body of Jesus the evening of the Passover ending. Now one can see that this was towards the end of the Passover.

Address the 3 Days And 3 Nights

The scriptures explain how Jesus was in the earth 3 days and 3 nights just as He had foretold.

How It Really Happened

3 Days And 3 Nights
SU M T W TH F S
Days         1  1  1
Nights    1  1  1

Essentially, JESUS was taken into custody Tuesday night; tried all night; beaten, scourged and scorned all day Wednesday for our sins, killed; and buried in the heart of the earth by sun down Wednesday night (the middle of the week).

This example will allow Him to rightfully be our Savior, our Messiah and King...

Now back to the top; if He died on a Wednesday, which was the Passover day, then two days before this was when He was teaching, would have had to be Monday; so it is quite possible that He triumphantly entered the city on the first day of the week Sunday or it could have been Monday... there is no concrete way to know for sure; the point is two days after, which lands us on Wednesday when He was killed and buried, and He rose on Saturday just before or as the sun was setting...

We can read all of the Gospels; and not ONE disciple, who were with Jesus 3.5 years, who were with Him that night of His death, mentions anything about Lent, Holy Week, Palm Sunday,  Easter, and resurrection Sunday.  None of them did... the only one to come close to mentioning Easter was Paul who did not join the apostle-ship until later... and I'm not taking credit away from Paul; but the keys of the Kingdom were left with Peter.

So this Holy week; if kept the biblical way would have began today because on Saturday evening of this week; it will be the Lord's Passover, which the Jew-ish people still keep today and if it meant anything to Christians, they would have resurrection-day 3 days and 3 nights after the Passover and not two weeks later as it is.

You see, the Romans have Easter Sunday scheduled around the Saturnalia ... based on the sun

The Easter sunrise service, that is practiced in many Christian churches, can be traced back to the ancient pagan custom of welcoming the sun god at the vernal equinox - when daytime is about to exceed the length of the nighttime. It was a time to celebrate the return of life and reproduction to animal and plant life as well. Worship of the sun god at sunrise is the religious ritual condemned by the Lord Jesus as recorded in Ezekiel 8:15-18.

So I took the time to write this because Wednesday night bible study you hold is engaging; thought provoking, the people are learning, in affect cleaning up there lives for fear of living in the last days.

The same thing would occur when you use to write your blogs; because you were reading... but to do all this good reading and teaching; then only return on Sunday to practice the vanity, paganism, and Roman worship you vehemently speak against on Wednesday confusion, at least and as a fellow man of God in Jesus name, I adjure you to think about this, really consider the matter.

Are you a pastor for notoriety, or are you doing a service for God to help Him recover lost souls?  If it is the latter like as for me, then let us bear our cross, and continue to expend the word of God together.  It may not be immediately welcomed; but as you like to say, we have to stand in the gap for the Lord sometimes.

Sure, the people may be taken back when you tell them, your church no longer has a Good Friday Service nor a Easter Sunday worship; the people may run from you, criticize you, report you, condemn you, and more.  Jesus told us to applaud any persecution we receive for His sake.  Consider this please...  it may be a slow process; but consider what the Lord has put in my heart to tell you today in this bible response.

Grace and peace in Jesus name to you.  Amen.

Revelation Chapter 12 Broken Down

Revelation 12

1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
the woman is the nation of Israel, which is the Church of God with all other nations being grafted into the Church, and the man child is JESUS Christ.

Gensis 37
9And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
10And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
That is the nation of Israel that JESUS Christ came through...

Revelation 12
5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
JESUS Christ is to rule all nations with a rod of iron... see Luke 1 v31 -33(31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.)

Revelation 12
6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

the children of Israel and the church will flee into the wilderness once the "abomination of desolation" is placed - this is a repeat of what they did while in Egypt but God will guide them to the place of safety, which is the wilderness for 3.5 years to avoid the great tribulation.

13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

the church has been under constant persecution from Satan since the beginning...

14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

the church was given passage to the wilderness to be nourished there for 3.5 years from the face of the serpent.

17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The LORD JESUS got the church safely into the wilderness; and those who Satan couldn't get, he went and chased her seed, and these are people who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of JESUS Christ.  These are people who did not understand the fleeing to the wilderness; these are people who wait for a rapture, instead of getting to the wilderness.

Praise God in Jesus name.

The Soul and the Body

Soul and Body

We got this question in today so I will address it for the masses to gain understanding on.

Question: I need some clarification.... I still am like the remaining Sunday goers on this issue of body and soul and I have come across a few scriptures that further bring questions to my mind.  However today's scripture is in Isaiah 10:18.

Hope you can shed some light.

Isaiah 10 v18

18And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.

So let us gain understanding on this scripture.  Let's began in the book of Micah…

Micah 3 v9 says
9Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob,
and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity

Okay without explanation let's move over to first Chronicles chapter 16 and read it

1st Chronicles 16 v13-14 says
13O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.   14He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

Now let's move over to Exodus chapter 19 and read it…

Exodus 19 v3 says

3And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

==

Now what does each of these scriptures say.  They categorize the house of Jacob and the House of Israel and two different entities.  It says the Children of Jacob and the children of Israel.  The house of Jacob and the children of Israel are one of the same.

So, my point is that we have to pick up on how the Lord speaks.  When He says Ephraim, we know He is still talking about Israel.  When He speaks of Jacob, He is still speaking of Israel.  So could it be when He says soul He is speaking body as well?

So now let's go to Genesis 2 v7 and it says
7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man became a living soul and entity; so he is it.  Now his body can be part of the entity but it is still part of the same.  Before he was a "living soul" man was a dead soul.

So now let's read Isaiah 10 v18 agains, it says,

18And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.

Both children of Israel and house of Jacob, both soul and body speaking of the same to BE SURE that the reader understands however way they want to view it; I'm going to destroy the soul or if you call it body, the body.

Tell the children of Israel, and for those that don't think they are Israel, tell the children of Jacob.  The Lord covered the bases for those that believe they are not Israelites but instead think they are children of Jacob or children of Ephraim and so forth.

The Lord in this scripture covers thoses that think body and not soul or think soul and not body.  Isaiah 10 only tells how He will destroy them.

Remember the original, the Lord gave Moses everything face-to-face
Exodus 33 v11
11And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.

Moses didn't dream this stuff; he got it like how I give it to you; like a man speaks to his friend.  So if it says man became a living soul, man is the soul.  His body is just the form he is in.  We have flesh and blood bodies, God has a soul, and his body is a spirit body.

Isaiah 1 v14 says
14Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

The Lord's soul hated what Israel was doing.  Everyone has a soul and everyone has a body, your body determines what kind of being you are; human being or spirit being.  Soul and body are one in the same.  Please let me know if this was helpful or edifying.  Peace and grace in the name of Jesus.

Man Created to Become God Response

Thank you for your response; you appear to make sense but give me your take on the scripts below…and by the way; I was quoting St. John 10 v34…

You said

"The scriptures are not teaching that - also as far as GOD recreating himself.. I would disagree again."

In Genesis chapter 1 and 2 God created man and man was IMMORTAL until he disobeyed God, at that point death was brought into the picture, including the second death.  God begins His recovery plan, or plan of salvation to continue to make this man completely like Him.

So please tell me how you would answer these scriptures

Psalm 82

1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

God stands in the congregation of the mighty and judges among the gods.  If there is only one God, who is God judging?  Now He goes on to show the characteristics of a certain species, like they judge unjustly, they accept wickedness and don't defend the poor and fatherless.  God says they don't understand and walk in darkness.  Now this is what Jesus quoted in verse 6; God said that man are gods and are all children of the Most High (but because of sin) we are dying like men and falling like one of the princes (Satan).

Psalm 8

4What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

6Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

King David ask why God is even concerned with man being that He made us a little lower than the angels in statue because the angels live forever; but God has crowned man with glory and honour.  But the answer is that God made man to have dominion over the works of His hands and has put all things under our feet (really Jesus but soon us if we do it right).

What are the works of God's hands, well His hands created the sun, the moon, the universe, the nations, man, animals, etc, and so on.  So we, man, is suppose to have dominion over all of these things.  We should be able to do like Jesus when He told the storm to be still.  Can we do this?  No, not now, not yet because we fail; but Jesus is our redemption and we will be like Him at His coming.

If the sun is beaming down to hard, we are suppose to have the power to turn it down like a man turns down the heat in his home.  At the very least pull a cloud in the way of the sun.  We are suppose to judge well because in the future we will judge even angels as mentioned in 1st Corinthians 6 (v1-3).

Paul told us in Romans chapter 8 (v28-29), "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."  Jesus is the first born from the dead, but He will have man brothers (this includes women remember in the Kingdom there is no male or female) among Him.  If we will be His brothers, and He is God, WHAT DO WE have to be?  God!  The question then is, will you be one?

When Jesus came out of the grave, He told His disciples that all power was given to Him in Heaven and in Earth (Matthew 28 v16-17).  And I got to tell you we will have this same power if we eat of the Tree of Life, which is to follow His commandments, keep His statutes, obey His laws, and love Him and our fellow brother.

These are some scriptures to think about.  Let me know what you think about them; the bible is very conclusive on this topic.

You said… "He gave us some similarities, however.. even in our perfect state - Adam - we were not YAHWEH - We created nothing".....

Wasn't that the sinful attempt? tempted to be GOD? know good and evil... we didn't know of evil meaning we weren't all-knowing."

While this is true, now we have the opportunity to eat from the Tree of Life and avoid the lie that we will be like God knowing good and evil and not die; but we will be able to have Holy Knowledge, and not tainted knowledge of good and evil that was given by Satan (a fallen angel).

 -
Remember that they wanted to stone Jesus because He said He was the son of God.  If He is the son of God that makes Him God, correct?  Same thing today, if I say I'm a son of God, that makes me god, because I walk in the spirit of God, not that I have ALL POWER like God.  Our day is coming…

I would love to rap with you about this via phone if you'd like, but I hope this edifies you my brother.  Peace in Jesus name.

Paul a Jew or a Gentile?

Question: Is Paul a Jew or Gentile. I thought he was a Gentile because he was from Tarsus; a Turkish province?

-
Response
: The literal answer is that Paul is neither a Jew or a Gentile. However, he'd be under the banner of a Jew more than anything else. Why I say this is below...
Paul was an Israelite. Because God speaks to the world through His chosen people which are His priest, Paul had to be an Israelite (sometimes put under the banner of Jews). So there is an advantage to being a Jew or Israelite

-
Romans 3

1What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

-

So we see God gave the Israelite the answers of God. Paul had to be a Jew (Israelite) to get the answers of God in order to teach. Furthermore...

Listen to Paul's prayer here

Romans 9

1I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

2That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

3For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

4Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

5Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Paul says he wish he could be cut off from Christ if his brothers would be saved...his brothers in the flesh (not spirit) who are Israelite.

So this let's us get closer to the fact (if it is not a fact already) that Paul was an Israelite...

Romans 11

1I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Paul was an Israelite, originally named Saul after the first flesh king of Israel, King Saul. The Gentiles gave him the name Paul. However, Paul was a Benjamite; which are not Jews. Jews come from the son Judah, however, Benjamites and Jews lived together in Southern Israel and were clumped together under the banner Jew because Judah was the Kingdom.

This the last scriptural reference...

in Philippians chapter 3

3For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

4Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;

6Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Paul let's the people know he is a real deal Hebrew, he was circumcised on the 8th day, from the stock of Israel, the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews, he kept the law, nearly blameless, even was a Pharisee. So there we have it. Paul was no Gentile, he was just chosen among the priest of God to teach the Gentiles.

Abraham's Lineage as it Relates to the Bible

Question: What was ABRAM in terms of his genealogy or his ethnic background as far as the bible states?

-
Response: Abram, later changed to Abraham is a Hebrew from the lineage of Shem, the son of Noah. Read below...

Genesis Chapter 10

21Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

22The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

23And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

25And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

26And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

27And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

28And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

32These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Genesis Chapter 11

10These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

11And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

12And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:

13And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

14And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

15And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

16And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

17And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

18And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:

19And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

20And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

21And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

22And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

23And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

24And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

25And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

26And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

27Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot

Now we see that Abram came from Terah who came from Eber (generations in between); and Eber is the father of the Hebrews. That is why it really probably is Ebrew, but all in all they are the sons of Shem, who was a son of Noah, and Noah is a son of Adam, the son of God.

Bible Response to Devin

This is excellent Devin, you’ve made some valid points, except you missed a few things.

Matt 28 v1

-

(1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre)

-

The end of the Sabbath is approaching and the first day of the week is beginning

-

(5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.)

-

The Lord had ALREADY risen; He was out of the grave before the first day of the week Devin.

-

Let's go to Mark 16

-

(Mark 16

1And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

3And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

4And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

5And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

6And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.)

The point is that just because I find you dead on Sunday does not mean you died on Sunday. So just because Mary came to check on the Lord on SUNday does not mean He rose on SUNday. He was already gone.

-

Further He did not die on a Friday because St. John 19 v31 tells us this…

-

31The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

-

So yes, He was killed the day before a Sabbath day, but it was a high Sabbath day. Do you know the difference?

Let’s go to Leviticus 23

-

Leviticus 23

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

3Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

4These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

5In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.

6And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

-

The Lord was killed on Passover, the 14th day and the following day is the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a High Sabbath Day. If you read the rest of Leviticus you’ll find that there are 7 High Sabbaths that can fall on any day of the week annually. This particular High Sabbath fell on a Thursday, Jesus was killed on Wednesday, He did the 3 days and 3 nights in the grave rising just before or as the sun went down on Saturday; the women came to check on Him Sunday and found HE WAS GONE! Praise the Lord

You’d have to dig into the Old Testament to find out about this, many miss it Devin, so don’t feel alone, God has blessed you to see this today. And you’re right, the same organization that gave me SUNday gave me the Bible, they gave me the “trinity” they told me the dead are in heaven, the same people said the earth was flat, and they give prescription drugs today that don’t heal. Do I take everything they say… heck no.

-

God blessed us that they left the bible in tact, sure they through out many books; but we have enough books left to learn how to get salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. I hope this edified you, grace and peace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
